Saturday was Peter's birthday/going away party at Michigan's Adventure. The forecast read mid-sixties and scattered showers, but we decided to try our luck and head out to North Muskegon. We rode up with Peter and Andrea (it poured on the way there), paid our way, got inside the park and waited in a store for the rain to subside. We rode 1 ride and then on the tilt-a-whirl, it started downpouring. We were absolutely soaked and it was freezing cold. Jer, Kait, Bren, Andrew showed up and we all rode Shivering Timbers (shivering fit the mood!) and that was a lot of fun. Jeremy and Kait were so hilarious on that ride, I was dying laughing. But it was alright. We got to ride a few rides and roller coasters, but the rain was just on and off, we got through all of the rides, it was way too cold to go into the water park, so we left early.

Afterwards, we went to dinner with Jeremy and Kait at El Camino. Then, they drove us home to Grand Haven and dropped us off. Brett and I sat home waiting for the next showing to begin, and then went to go see Inglourious Basterds at GH9. It was a good movie, but I had my knees up and scarf over my face the entire time because I couldn't stand the head-scalping, face-carving scenes which were so gross! That's Quentin Tarantino for you; of course.
