Monday night, Brett didn't think we were going to go to this show because we didn't really have the money to do so, but I surprised him right after work and said we were able to go! We got some dinner and drove out to Grand Rapids. We paid our way to get in, it was around 7 and the show hadn't started yet, so we walked down to Biggby. I saw Justin, got a short soy caramel marvel (mmm!) and we walked back looking at all of the new things that are being built and renovated in Grand Rapids. It's insane how much construction is down there right now; I'm so excited for that city to watch it grow and grow. It has so much potential and I'm glad it's finally up and coming.

So the first band was not really our thing, so we sat upstairs. Half Hearted Hero played second, which was crazy, and awesome (because we could leave afterwards! haha) But they were really good. Brett was trying to get me into them for weeks before this show and I was really impressed and now I'm loving listening to their CD. Really good band. And they were all really nice guys, Brett got a CD and t-shirt. After them, we left immediateeeeely and drove home.
