So summer is winding down to it's end and the weather has definitely reflected that. It was in the sixty-degree range this weekend, and I feel like fall is right around the corner. End of summer is always so bittersweet. I love summer so much, but fall is my favorite. I'm loving the free time, but I'm so ready for classes and to start working hard at finishing college. I'm so ready for fall fashion, apple orchards, pumpkin carving, trips we have planned, but I'm definitely going to enjoy these last weeks of beach visits, pier walks, hot air and summer.
Today, Brett and I had a movie fest in our living room. Afterwards, we decided to get twists and walk along the pier. Walked a few miles, gorgeous weather, lovely scenery, ran into a few familiar faces, got some photographs.

I've recently been trying to prepare myself for a few goals, and have been obsessing over my fall "to-do" list. Fall semester begins in 1 week and I want to work hard to be on the president's list again, starting september is when the fall fashion calendar begins and I want to work hard at learning more about fashion and continue to revamp my closet as I have been lately, I want to learn how to cook real recipes (I'm going to start with a recipe I've wanted to cook for so long: asian beef + noodles), I want to finally (after maintaining all summer) get back to losing weight and lose these remaining 9.2 pounds to get down to 110 pounds even and then maintain there. I want to purchase new books and start reading a lot more. I want to watch every old movie that Grace Kelly was in. I want to continue working on this apartment and get our kitchen retiled as our last "home improvement project" and work at the guest bedroom after Peter moves out. Lots of trips in autumn planned, lots of things going on. I'm super excited and looking forward to the future. But I'm going to take these last few summer weeks and thoroughly enjoy every second I have left of them. ♥
