Happy Halloween!

There was a big lunch, pumpkin carving and costume contest at Kendall. [go figure, art students!] and it was amazing! I totally loved it. I love my school so much. It's totally perfect that our whole school can have one lunch contest, so unlike any other big huge school ;] Oh how I love it.. Life couldn't be any better. Seriously. It's perfection.

After my final class let out, I ran home quick to 5 Lyon to grab my scooter. I scooted so fast down to the parking lot to grab my car! All of the business men were staring at me crazily. I mean c'mon. Haven't they ever seen a cat riding a razor scooter before? I drove so fast to Grand Haven to go to Brett's house. We watched movies on the couch and passed out candy to the kids. It was such a blast.

The Family Line @ The Park Theater

Brett and I headed over to Peter's apartment, to pick him up and get some photos of them in their paint! They dressed up like zombies for The Family Line show. We drove out to Holland to the Park Theater, so they could play. It was pretty nuts. They all had fake blood in their mouths that they spit out. Sick!

Carving Pumpkins

Brett and I got pumpkins from his Mom, and carved them in his parent's kitchen! We played halloween music on their cable channel, and sat and carved. I always create the same pumpkin face. Brett is a bit more creative than I am!

Baby Ava is Born!

So I was at the hospital waiting with Brett and his family, to see Jeff and Tiffaney's new baby girl that was born tonight. Ava Debolt Dierolf; 6 pounds 11 ounces. It was seriously so beautiful, to see Ava, to hug Jeff, to see Tiffaney all worn out, to see tears in Brett's parent's eyes and to hug Brett's dad,and to hug Brett. [who is now an uncle!] It makes me tear up just thinking, about how someday that family, will be my family too.

Chicago Trip

We left for Chicago on Saturday morning. Went CD shopping and got a couple of CD's on sale. Went over to see Millenium park, the fountains weren't spitting that time, I was kinda disappointed, but we got some neat pictures there by the mirror blob thing!

We walked over to Shedd Aquarium, waited an hour in line, it was so entirely packed in there. It wasn't exactly what we were hoping for, but it turned out alright after we got to see the penguins. We walked all the way back over, finally got a cab and went to Ed Debevic's. Crazy oh man, but it was quite an experience. Hailed another cab, and went shopping at Nike, Pottery Barn, H&M and all around Michigan Ave. We had to walk back to the car and almost died, we were so tired.


On the way home, we just talked about everything and stopped to BK, and got service by a totally crazy lady. Then I was like sleeping, yet still talking to Brett. I don't really remember, haha. I just remember how happy I felt to sleep next to him in my bed after that night. Soo tired.

Tiger's Win the ALCS!

Tonight was so amazing. The TIGERS won! First Brett and Peter freaked out, then Brett ran over to the couch and jumped on top of me, then Peter jumped on top of us! Hahaha, those two make up my life. Then my best girl calls, and goes "Tigers won!" and I'm like, "JEN! I know!" and we go EEEE! Heheheeeee. And then I got to watch a movie with Peter, Brett and Mani! andddd... Brett is in the shower right now, then we're going to bed. And sleeeep so warmly, yayyy I'm so eexxcitteddd!!

Brett's 22nd Birthday

Brett turned 22 today! I went to Grand Haven for his birthday. I got him a hoodie he really wanted at Modern Skate Shop! He was excited. Then, we went to Clover Bar with his parents, brother, sister and Grandma Cook. It was fun; plus Brett loves Clover Bar!

1st Art History Test

I may look like a scrub lately, but I'm a scrub who is kicking ass! :D I got all A's on my logo assignment I was so nervous on, and then I got this this afternoon. I'm so ecstatic. Today could not get any better, oh wait. Yes it could! BRETT is coming to GR to see me. Oh how I love my life right now. So so much.

Cider and Grand Haven

I absolutely love driving on Lake Michigan Avenue from Grand Rapids to Grand Haven to see Brett. Sunday, we walked to downtown Grand Haven. We got some hot cider at "The Coffee Grounds" and walked down by the water. Perfect autumn weather!

He showed me the Imagination Station and I loved it. It's like this huge wooden playground. We played around on that for a bit, took a lot of fun pictures together.

Afterwards, we just went back to his parent's, so we could watch movies in the basement, in his amazing bedroom I love so much. I swear it's the only place in the world I feel like being lately. School has been so challenging and I'm having a hard time adjusting to college, and Brett just makes all of those bad feelings go away. I love him so much.
