Ah you visited Portugal. Did you like it?
I really did, it was such a nice place to let the 17-40 f4.0L stretch it's legs!
I was on a Cruise and hit alot of Countries in the Med, and honestly, while we were only in portugal for a short time, it and Spain were my favorite countries, albeit I was in Spain for three times the time I was in portugal for, Portugal still beat the tits off France. Food was awesome, Climate, Scenery, People....the wine. Okay Italy might have better food. But just barely :D

I'm not sure why people are all out of sorts with this increase. Basically it seems people are mad that it will cost them more to end a contract early? Is upgrading before the end of two years really that important?
Maybe I'm just odd, but two years with a product really isn't all that long.

I just checked out the USA Apple Store web page and for the basic ibook and powerbook configurations there is a 3-5 day wait.
Anyone think this is a good indicator that this novemeber 5th date for an update seems a little more possible?

Currently, the iPod nano (2010 version, or 6th generation) cannot playback video on its touchscreen. Attempts to play mp4 or m4v files will only output the audio track, not the video.
Some are hoping that Apple will come up with a firmware update to allow video to show on the screen, but until then, no.

Same here. The mismatched iOS versioning between the AT&T and Verizon iPhones is beginning to remind me of Android. Because of Apple's history of ensuring all current iOS devices are on the same release is a big reason I made the move from the Droid X, and now Apple is doing it too. Whether or not I see a benefit from the latest iOS release, I want to be sure I had the latest and greatest rather than play the wait game plauging many of the Android based phones.

Look everyone, another Applogist.
My battery live is much worse since the recent upgrade. Around 25% less battery life. No jailbreak here.
It might be Apple trying to screw us up and make us want to upgrade to iphone 5. I remember I had the iphone 3G and with its latest "upgrade" my phone took a shiat bigtime. There wasnt even a way to downgrade the upgrade.

Hey all. I was screwing with iTunes4 tonight and I managed to delete all my playlists. They're still on my iPod (as is the whole iTunes library). Is there a program out there that will allow me to download my playlists from the iPod to iTunes? It will save me several hours of work if I can do that.

Hi all,
I'm trying to connect to my work server (Windows Server 2008 R2) via Remote Desktop Connection for Mac on my iMac at home.
Until recently, the work server was running Windows Server 2002 but since the upgrade to 2008 I get an error when I try to connect to the work IP Address... Help!

I live in Maryland in what is considered the metropolitan Washington DC area; and I have been an AT&T customer since, wow - forever. I moved to AT&T from Sprint, and I couldn't be any happier with the customer service, pricing, call quality, and consistency with their network. When the iPhone 3G came out, I switched to it from a Samsung Blackjack 2. Since my company didn't support the iPhone, I was able to find a workaround using google. Well, about a year or so ago, my company's IT department decided to do something with the security which precluded me from further use of my eхploit, so I was forced to get a company-provided Blackberry Tour using Verizon - a day that shall live in infamy. It was extremely slow; I experienced drop call at a rate much higher than with AT&T, and I was so frustrated at the fact that I couldn't do anything else, such as search the web, while I was on a call. So I ends up carrying two phones. One to check work email and calendar, and my AT&T iPhone for everything else.
Well, I am pleased to say that my company know uses Google Apps (yeeeessss), and I am back down to one phone. But the reason for my post is to get a sense of whiter or not the complaints I hear about AT&T are regional. I rarely experience dropped calls; their network is really fast (faster than our guest provided wifi at work), and I can browse the web while on the phone with my wife (she is still with sprint). I was troubled at the most recent cover of Consumer Reports vis-a-vis their analysis of carries. On it it states "Sorry AT&T, or something to that effect..By the way, a majority of the people at work complain about Verizon, which prompted us to go to a stipend program for those of us the require to have a smart phone. So is service regional, and xo those folks living in areas of the country with limited AT&T technology have the loudest bark?

Further evidence that new hardware will not be released this summer. Why go through the trouble of firing up production of this phone just to shut it down in a month if not less than a month to start production of a new phone?

I just dl it and its awesome! this should be picked up by apple its super handy. sometimes i have 4 camera apps open that i am using and i hate having to find them so this is a saving grace for me.

Has anyone had a close look at the main picture on Apple's preview page? The sender of the email in the top pane is 'Katie Lorenzo' but in the preview pane her name is 'Amy Lorenzo'. Also, the delivery time is out by almost an hour.

-Those two girls made that wallpaper in my Biology class the other day so I use it on MWF;), and I use the Jordan one all the other time. I'm actually quite fond of the Jordan one, although keeping the GeekTool scripts centered is a huge pain...:D

I didn't lose any of my roll-over minutes. I have ~1200 and am on the 450 individual plan.
They will fix it on the next bill. You'll only have 450 rollover minutes. The same thing happened to me.
