I've just run a test - only when I update the control dimensions does the opacity interpolate correctly - what do I have to do to get this working without changing the entire control? Do I have to target the layoutroot and then set the propertytarget to the path of the child control of layoutroot to get the opacity anim to work?

As long as you meet the requirements for EB5 (500K in approved areas/ 1M in rest)
you should be good. They don't need the 140 and if you haven't applied for 485 then it doesn't matter.
Also did u know it is a conditional GC (just like when u marry USC you get a conditional GC) after 2 yrs you need to apply for removal of conditions by proving you met all the EB5 requirements.

Does anybody know what the fees are for filing EAD (yearly) extensions if you filed for EAD, 485 before August 17.

yes, in general as per law, you have to file tax returns to both states.
But most of the desi-employers try to use same state that they used first part of year and continue with that till end of year. But in the next year, they start with new state. This happens all the time with most of the desi-employers. There is no problem. You are not skipping any taxes, it is your employer's responsibility. If your employer says, he is working here and paying state taxes, then thats it, nobody can't say/argue anything.

But now looking at my W2 it shows that my employer has been filing taxes in my previous state Missouri for the entire year. How should I go about correcting this? I was in Missouri for 5 months and in South Carolina for the remainder. In which state should I file my tax too?

WOW! they'll accept applications without medical examinations. Wish I had known that before sending my second app. :( Seems like USCIS is more forgiving this time around - you think the flowers had something to do with it?;)
Hope they treat my G-325 oversight the same way and issue an RFE instead of outright rejecting the application. (Fingers crossed)

Hi,
My friend got his H1 last year for 2007-2008 and came to US in DEC 2007, he works for IT company. However, since he has arrived he has not been placed on a project and so no pay stub has been generated. He has been on bench for 6 months.(technically without a job but has H1)
Is he out of status?
Can he show that he is on vacation till he gets a project?
Is there any other way?
Pls help.

Yes. He is out of status and I dont believe you can show six months as vocation. You need give the reason and proof for the long period of vocation. His employer must pay him the salary even if he is not in porject. Otherwise its illegal

1. You can apply for transfer but there might be an RFE asking about your paystubs which you can't provide as you are not on H1 now.
2. With new H1, you can only work from October 2010.
3. Now a days we can predict. If you want it quick you can opt for premium.
4. Any way even it is H1 Transfer or New H1, you need to reenter using your H1 so that your I 94 reflects your current status.

I would suggest you to switch to EAD. There is no reason for you stick to H1-B anymore.

Switch from Adjustment of Status (AOS) to Consular Processing. The caveat is you lose your EAD and will have to wait for your PD to be current before you can work in the US again. Unless you get a new H1 and want to start over!

First of all you would need a visa to visit UK.
I don't think Malaysian nationals residing legally in US and travelling to UK need a visitor visa...But I am not sure if UK visa law considers pending I-485 (AOS) a valid status....If you still maintain a valid H1 status but plan to re-enter on AP, you should be ok in my view...

Why not petition a GC for your mother and son? You are a US citizen petitioning their parent. It should be a fast process. And your son, if born after you became a citizen, might be entitled to US citizenship. I encourage you to talk to an immigration lawyer. I'm sure you have many options available to you.
