Why don`t you ask your Attorney about it since you are paying him and that`s his job to tell what documents he needs. ASK HIM.
I did and he says we will submit a copy of the Visa and just hope they do not request the approval letter.
I was just wondering how important an approval letter was if you have the visa stamped on the passport. That should be proof enough of legal status.

Check this Out:
Q. How do I make a complaint against my attorney or representative?
A. If the complaint concerns the conduct of an attorney or representative in a matter before the Immigration Court, BIA, or DHS, you may complete a Form EOIR-44, Immigration Practitioner Complaint Form but it is not required. You may write your own complaint statement or letter. This statement or letter must include.
Your name and address,
The attorneys or representatives name and address,
An explanation of the circumstances and details of your complaint, and
Your signature.
Along with your Form EOIR-44 or your own complaint statement or letter, you may also submit supporting documents and information, such as:
Correspondence between you and your attorney or representative,
Documents concerning the underlying immigration case (including the case name and number), and
Copies of filings in connection with the case.
Neither EOIR nor DHS can accept complaints over the telephone.

Thanks a ton for the link. This will definitely bring shivers to those belligerant lawyers.

I have no knowledge of Nikon's lenses.
But really no-one but you can tell what lens you may need. It depends completely on what your photography style, subjects and conditions are. Same as if I asked you what car I should buy: If I like to drive fast on mountain roads, a sporty model would be great. If I have five kids that need taking to school every day, I need a minivan. If I work as a builder and need to transport material, a proper van or truck is what I need, etc, etc.
If you do a lot of indoors photos with poor lighting, a big aperture lens is what you need.
If you do a lot of outdoors wildlife shots, you need a long telephoto lens of some sort (300mm or more), preferrably with a big aperture so that you can get some decent shutter times in morning and evening light conditions as well...
If you do architecture and need wide-angles, something like the Sigma 12-24mm superwide zoom could come in handy (I'm sure Nikon does something similar, but I just don't know the Nikon lenses well enough to tell you what it is).
A 100mm (or thereabouts) macro lens is always a good thing, as it allows you to take close-ups, and can double as a portrait lens and any other duty where a 100mm lens is appropriate.
Think about the situations where your photography has been limited because the lens wasn't doing what you needed it to do, and figure out what lens would do the job for you. Then figure out how to afford it. ;-)

A little update; I was asked to send some of these pictures to Sveriges Ornitologiska Frening (main ornithological society), and the pics are now on their home page (http://www.sofnet.org) with a short story (http://www.sofnet.org/index.asp?lev=2125&typ=1) . No biggie, they accept user contributions, but flattering just the same. I can now sort of say I've been published! :) Maybe the link to my home page can lead to something (uhh, no pun intended).

Thanks for the effort. Obviously it is not their interest to release the data, that's why we need to figure out a way to force them to discose such data. I think it's possible to get a court order to request such data.
It takes years and months to get a request fulfilled under FOIA. In this administration, run of the mill govt agencies have been given even more latitude in fulfilling FOIA requests -- forget about the DOS and its response to FOIA requests. Perhaps I didn't make myself clear -- even other agencies within the government who don't need FOIA are unable to make this happen. Do see the magnitude of the problem?
The only way to break the logjam is through political pressure.
Again, I'd say, please don't assume the IV people who have been working on these issues are naive or lack information. ;-)

These are minor things, although annoying, but I wouldn't worry about them. I guess it's just your GC interview. The good thing is that they are processing your case. I would suggest taking your lawyer with you. When is your interview? Just curious what is the time frame. Good luck.
Thanks
Interview is scheduled during the first week of March.

I have my first GC interview next month. I had a DUI few years back that I forgot to mention in the 485 app as I thought this was a traffic related offense. I want to know what are my options now? My lawyer suggests I file for some kind of waiver and suggests I take an attorney with me to the interview. She also asked me to get court certified copies of the conviction and that I completed all the required tasks assigned by the court.
Is this going to affect my GC in anyway? I need some guidance here.
Did the interview request from USCIS specifically mention the DUI?
Here's some information that might help you understand your situation better: http://www.californiadui.com/articles/immigration-issues-of-dui.php
I think it's not the prior DUI conviction, but the failure to disclose the prior DUI conviction that poses a potential problem. However, this is not something that cannot be taken care of with the help of an experienced attorney. There are numerous folks who have found themselves in a similar situation and have gone on to successfully get their GC. I agree with the advice provided by the gentleman above.

I don't know what triggers these changes, I have seen my last updated date changed today as well. The letter I got from NSC also said the same thing as yours, that the case is now at TSC.
I think you have to just wait and let USCIS do its thing. Not sure calling them will help as the priority dates are not current .

I just received all the receipts for I-140/I-485/I765/I-131 from TSC.
As some stupid questions:
- I noticed a number above my name: A0xx xxx xxx. Is this an alien number?
- If so please someone explain since I have my PD on 04/24/2001 I never noticed this number (I might be wrong). It is something good or bad or what this number mean?
- Also, just to have an idea, after all are approved (hopefully without unexpected delays) how long until I have that plastic card GC in my hand?
- any small clue will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
If you have a approved I-140 and your name check completed you can expect GC soon. If not even with older PD you need to wait for I-140 to be approved to get GC

Let the guy ask. I see a couple of times somebody asking a question, and instead of answering people ask to search at the forum first....
why not just respond if possible or just ignore. I think posting a reply to say to search first is not very usefull at all.
