Every second of our wedding day was perfect. Especially thanks to our family and friends who did so much. The day started at the salon, where all of us girls got ready. Then we headed out immediately to Lakeshore Lutheran, and started getting dressed and ready in the prayer room. Everyone shouted, "Brett's here, Brett's here!" And I breathed sigh of relief that he didn't change his mind.
Brett and I decided to see each other before the ceremony, so I met him in the chapel area along with our photographer I turned into a huge mess and started crying! It was just so amazing to see him in his tux, and for him to see me in my dress for the first time.
Finally, the ceremony began! It was amazing. Brett and I were so nervous, being in front of all of those people, but we couldn't wait until the ceremony part was over, so that we could walk out of that church married. Everybody was crying during the ceremony, including me. I could barely spit out my vows. I love him more than life itself. He's the best thing to ever happen to me.

Afterwards, us and our bridal party hopped into a Grand Haven trolley, and it drove us downtown to the pier! We all walked down to the very end to get photographs. It was such a hot day; I'm evil for making my bridesmaids wear long dresses.

After the pier, we got on the trolley to head back to Porto Bello in downtown Grand Haven! Brett and I walked around with our photographer, taking more photographs in downtown areas. Then we waited outside for forever, and finally were announced into the reception area! The dinner was so delicious, and our confetti cake was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted, from the very first month we started dating.

The wedding ended early because it was on a Sunday. We were so relieved because we were exhausted. I was exhausted from the whole weekend, and the whole summer in general. I'm just so relieved and happy to be married. We went home, Brett carried me through the threshold, and the rest of the night is private. Muaahaha.
