20th Birthday

Today was pretty darn amazing. I turned 20! I went to Dad's house and they got me a comforter and some cash. Shar also made me a peanut butter cake. Mmm. We went out on the boat for a little bit. Brett came out to meet us and he met my Dad and Shar. Everything seemed to go great! Shar said that Brett had a cute smile. Brett and I rode the boat back with them to the dock. I dropped Brett back off to his car and went home to get ready.


I got all showered and cute! And Brett came over wearing suit pants, a collar shirt and a tie. He looked so absolutely amazing, I could have just died right then and there. He brought me a rose and the Charlie Chaplin DVD collection. He said he looked everywhere for The Kid but couldn't find it. I adore him so much. He drove us to Grand Rapids. We went to Olive Garden and the whole meal was just embarrassing. I knocked over my whole glass of coke and broke a wine glass. Then I was on pins and needles the whole time because Brett told the waiter that it was my birthday and they all came to sing to me. It was so awful! After that, we went to Peter's new apartment to watch a movie. Brett drove me out back home to Muskegon. If he asked you to marry him, it's so sad that you would absolutely say yes right now. He gave me a wonderful hug goodbye and I just.... I just elephant shoes him. :]

Movies on Deck

Brett and I were amazing today. He drove us to Grand Rapids so we could pick up his paycheck. We both agreed on the way there that we LOVE confetti cake and Long John Silver's chicken planks. He said, "If we ever get married, we should have confetti wedding cake." Hahaha. I love it. We stopped to his house, ate at Long John Silver's and then Peter met up with us and we went to go see his new apartment. Brett had his arm around me and was like "We're getting married". Ugaah!. If only he knewwww how much I like him in THAT way. We saw Peter's new apartment and then headed back to Grand Haven. He was lazy, but didn't want to sit around so I was finally like "Let's go watch a movie on the boat." So we went to downtown Muskegon to watch Pink Panther on the boat.

We were both so bored and it was just funny how we were thinking the same thing. I mouthed "elephant shoes" to him and he's like what, leaned in closer... what??, whhhat?? and I'm like "elephant shoes." Hahahaha. We laughed about it on the way home. He was like "I don't think she's saying what I think she's saying." We got out of the car and he was like, "You know how you thought I was going to be creeped out cuz you liked me so much?" and I'm like yeah? and he goes "Well now I'm worried that you're going to be creeped out because I'm starting to like you a lot. I mean I liked you a lot before, but now I like you a lot a lot." I'm like "Oh my gosh, dont ever even worry about that." I'd never be creeped out. I WANT him to like me that much. He makes me feel whole honestly. He's my best friend of all time and I absolutely adore him and our relationship. I'm definitely falling in love with him.

Grand Rapids with Jen

I went to Grand Rapids today with Jen to figure out parking for when we live at 5 Lyon. It was fun. We walked to the parking lot and it's not too far. It'll probably be killer in the winter though. We walked around downtown for a while and took some pictures. We talked a lot and I just completely love her to death. I think things are going to be perfect. I can't wait to live with her. I'm so entirely glad I found her/she found me.

Sweat Fest

Today, I woke up to Brett's phone call around 2 pm ;] I got ready and headed over to Sweat Fest. We sat around for a bit. Then, the family line played and I watched them. But other than that, Brett and I just hung out there all day.

We got some food and just chatted with everybody. The sky was amazingly beautiful tonight. It was perfect. Brett introduced me to his friend, Dustin, tonight as his girlfriend. I just loved hearing, "Hey Dustin, this is my girlfriend, Tieka." I'm so absolutely crazy about him I could just die right now and feel happy.
