Drifting sand

Ohmigosh! Brr! It has been really cold here! We saw snowflakes on Friday.. snowflakes! Ugh, that's just awful! It's way too soon. I don't want to see snow until after Thanksgiving! But thank goodness, it only lasted a half second.. and nothing stuck. It's really sunny and pretty out today - but so cold! And super windy! Last night, Brett and I went out to the beach and it was crazy cold out there!

I received these super cute oxford heels from an online shop called Scarpasa for review! I love them - they are really cute and easy to walk in, plus I love the wood detailing of the heel. They are super slick on the bottom though, so I had to be super careful on stairs. I went to pick up Brett from work and tumbled all the way down some stairs.. but I didn't fall, go me! But granted, I'm not totally used to walking in heels on a daily basis! But the color of these will go with so much in my closet - I'm excited to style them up again!

(dress - zara via time enough for drums via delightful dozen | zinda meredith shoes - c/o scarpasa
belt - forever 21 | tights for every occasion in lunch date - c/o modcloth)

I love this dress from Zara - I was lusting after it when we were in NYC, but I was super tights on funds - but lucky me because Annie from Time Enough for Drums (our newest Delightful Dozen member!) snatched it up and is letting the girls in the DD style it up! It's so cute for fall! I'm loving burnt oranges, browns, reds for autumn. I'm super sad to see that all of the trees are almost bare! It's so inspirational to look out the window and get dressed in fall!
