January is the coldest month, on average, within the northern hemisphere. And we're half way through. I've been really trying to enjoy each season as they are, but it's tough sometimes! I still dress like I'm living in autumn or spring. But I really love tights. I finally have a pretty nice collection and I just want to wear them all the time. So I'm going to! Take that, winter! I giggle when I get dressed. I layer two cardigans and then I wear shorts with the thinnest tights in the world! At least my top half is comfy cozy warm!
It's Friday! Oh so excited. I got through my first week of my last semester and I'm still alive! Kicking and breathing! It's going to be a long semester, but gosh. I have so many great plans coming up that I truly can't complain. The Chictopia 10 conference is a month away... then we're going to Chicago for the weekend to see Screeching Weasel (again!) during the last weekend of February. Plus there are some awesome things happening with Selective Potential right now. I can't wait to talk about all of it! Eeee!

Tonight, Brett and I got our favorite square pizza from Marco's and went to see Lovely Bones at the theater. It was pretty good. It was kind of ruined by two little thirteen year old girls sitting in the back of us that wouldn't shut up! I was hoping Brett would get annoyed and yell at them. He's too kind. ;)
