Well this past weekend was fantastic. On Saturday, it was Brett's Dad's birthday - so they had Jeff, Tiffaney, Ava and Grandma over to eat dinner. We had steaks and potatoes - and sat outside and it was so great. After dinner, the guys went in the side yard and played catch while us girls sat out in the shaded back yard watching Ava and chattin about the wedding and what not. I felt married. It was so great. After the guys were done playing catch - they came and sat down and Rick opened his gifts and we had cheesecake. Brett and I were sitting on the chair together and he was being so husbandy cute. Brett and I were so excited and had a really great day. We got to hold Ava and she kept smiling at Brett- and it was so entirely adorable. I loved it. She's so chubby and cute. After a while - we took off and headed to the movie theater to watch Surfs up with Jen & Ryan (our future married friends!) It was a great night overall.
