Happy New Years!

New Year's Eve, we went over to Steve's house for a party! It was such a great time. We loved seeing everybody! We all played "Catch Phrase" and ate lots of delicious food. I love spending time with Steve and Sara. That whole group of kids are just amazing to hang out with.

Wedding Planning

Life is so amazingly amazing right now. I've been living at home this past week (no crazies, free parking, no walking in the snow, food galore) and working at Beacon Recycling (yay!) for the past week. It's been so amazing. I absolutely love it. It feels like a flashback of my old life, and although I love GR and my school and my new job, it is so great to come back here and fit in all over again. And be reminded at how great my life is.



Brett and I are busily planning away. So far, we have the church reserved for August 12. We talked to Pastor Glenn Shelton (amazing man!), we booked Portobello's Grand Hall for Sunday evening. We also have quite a bit of money lined up for us. So we're so excited. I've been planning so much with my Mom and Dad lately. And at first, I thought they were going to be so mad at me, but they understand marriage is really important to me, and I've always wanted to get married young. (Brett has too.) And we'll be poor for a while, but I think it'll be a lot of fun. Brett's parents said some of the best years of their lives, were when they were young, poor and married. =]



Life is amazing. I love Brett so much. I still cannot believe I'm wearing this beautiful ring, given to me by this boy I'm completely head over heels for, and I'm going to be a wife in less than a year. Brett and I have wanted this all of our lives. I'm so glad we chose each other. <3

The Start of Tall Ships

Brett and I went over to Peter's apartment tonight to hang out. They showed me the new band they are working, Tall Ships. They recorded a few songs with Damian, but it's definitely not at all like The Family Line. It's a lot more serious; and a lot better. Brett is drumming right now, but would so much rather do vocals, but it just all depends on who they can find for the band. He is just so excited about it. He was dancing around to it.
